General FAQ

What’s this comic about?
It’s about a group of young superheroes, more or less. They don’t wear costumes nor do they have superhero names or personas, they’re just kids trying to find meaning and do what’s right, who also just happen to also have superhuman abilities.

Who makes this comic?
I do! My name’s Marcus, or Sprite. I’m a mostly self-taught artist living in Colorado, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.

How and when did you come up with it?
In middle school, I made a comic called School of Heroes, which depicted myself and my classmates as superheroes. As much as my friends liked it, I decided it probably wouldn’t have a very wide audience outside of them, so I rebranded it with original characters and just built upon it from there. That was… about a decade and a half ago.

What do you use to make the comic?
I use Clip Studio Paint and a Wacom Cintiq 13HD. Other programs include DesignDoll for pose reference, and Google Earth for city references.

Is there any mature content?
I’d say if PG-13 was more lenient with language, I’d call it that.
– There’s plenty of actiony violence and some blood, but nothing too extreme or gory.
– There might be occasional suggestive themes but no explicit sexual content.
– As for language, it’s not a Tarantino or Scorsese film or anything, but characters do swear freely.

Can I draw fan art?
